The Best Summer Moisturizers

Ok ladies, today I’m giving you a full review of Mac Mineralize Charged Water Moisturizers! If you are like me, whether you wear sunscreen or not, sometimes your face can get extra dry from Summer sun and heat. I stumbled upon these charged water moisturizers a couple of years ago and they have yet to fail me!

I’ll start with the eye cream. This cream is not only for extra moisture, but helps with firming, de-puffing, and reduces fine lines. I like to put this on just under my eyes before bed and then again after I wash my face in the mornings. Unfortunately, fine lines are a nemesis of mine, so I lather this stuff on! The cost is $35 and I have had this particular jar for over a year. I give this product 5 stars!

Secondly, the larger jar is the moisturizer I use for my overall face. I apply this once a day right before my foundation. This is for hydration and will also soothe and soften the skin. My issue in the past is that if I use moisterizer, my skin is way too oily, but if I use nothing it would get flakey and dry. I hated the way moisturizer would make my skin feel greasy! None of these are a result from the Charged Water Moisture Gel. It goes on very light and absorbs instantly! This product has been dermatologist tested and features a 77- mineral complex. I am telling you, it will change your life. The cost of this jar is $40 and totally worth it 🙂

I hope this serves as a starting guide for all you gals out there! The best part about Mac is that they are gracious to accept returns and exchanges if you aren’t 100% satisfied with their products. They get two thumbs up from me!

Thanks for stopping by!

Road Trippin’

Wednesday night I drove my baby boy to my mom’s house to be dropped off for the weekend. If you follow me on Instagram, I already talked a little bit about this. It is the hardest thing to leave your kids and go on trips after you become a mom! I used to hear women say this and think, “That is crazy! It’s just a couple of nights, and you need the break.” It’s just different when it is your own. I feel guilty, like he is being mistreated by being left! Are there any other moms who deal with trip anxiety? My mind also goes to dark places, like, “What if we get in wreck and leave him behind.” What? Why do we do this to ourselves?! I know we shouldn’t feel this way, but something changes when you become a mom. Continue reading “Road Trippin’”
